Denver Outlaws Lacrosse TeamThe Denver Outlaws kicked off their inaugural season on May 20, 2006 by setting the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) attendance record, driving 13,167 lacrosse fans into INVESCO Field at Mile High -and that was just the beginning! As a first year expansion team, the Outlaws captured the Western Conference Championship with an overall record of 11-2, sent five players to the MLL All-Star game and delivered hard-hitting action to nearly 70,000 Outlaws fans over the course of the home season. The second season saw the Outlaws make the playoffs for the second year and set a professional lacrosse attendance record by hosting 19,793 at INVESCO Field on July 4, 2007. In '07, the team qualified for their second consecutive post season appearance. In their first two years of existence, the Outlaws have been one of the most successful franchises in the MLL both on and off the field. They are one of two teams to qualify for the MLL playoffs in both for both the 06 and 07 seasons. The two time defending Champion, Philadelphia is the other team to accomplish this feat. The Outlaws roster has been filled with some of the biggest stars in the game. All Star players like Brian Langtry, Josh Sims, Brendan Mundorf, Benson Erwin, Trevor Tierney, Geoff Snider and Lee Zink, have all been a part of the Outlaws franchise since the beginning.
