Parents – Welcome to SportZu.tv!

SportZu.tv is a safe interactive community to communicate with players and parents; access tips, rules, drills and sports psychology from the pros; share and learn best practices with other coaches; and discuss youth sports related issues.

You will help shape this community.Here are some basics to help you get started:

HOW DO I JOIN SPORTZU.TV?

1.       Click on the large Join Now banner near the top right on the home page.  You may also join now by clicking here.

2.       Fill out the requested information including username.  The username is your identity on SportZu.tv so be creative and have some fun with your Zudentity.

3.       Review the terms and conditions, as we have attempted to create a safe community for all members.  Should you have any questions, please contact us directly.

4.       Please note the “I am 13 or older” check box.  This is important for you and your players.  While we will attempt to limit personally identifiable information, certain elements are out of our control and therefore by law, we cannot permit any children under the age of 13 to sign-up without their parents completing their registration and monitoring their activity on SportZu.tv.  For more information on our privacy policy and the terms and conditions, please visit terms and conditions.

5.       Finally - Why are we asking for CAPTCHA? CAPTCHA is a type of challenge-response test used in computing to determine whether the user is human or computer and keeps spammers from signing up for accounts online in mass quantities.

WHAT DO I DO WITH MY PROFILE?

1.       Click on your profile under the search bar near the top right of your screen.

2.       Once there, click on the “Edit” tab to fill out preferences for the site including privacy and contact information.  Within this section you may also change your password and upload your profile picture at any time.

3.       Click on the “Edit Profile” tab - answer the questions you would like to show on your or your child under the age of 13’s page. 

WHAT IS MYSPORTZU?

MySportZu – this is your personalized channel.  MZU is where you keep track of your videos, blogs, events, groups you have joined and friends, otherwise known as ZuMates.

Using the navigation buttons on the right, begin to program your channel by clicking on the different elements – blogs, images etc. You can move the boxes around and create a personalized channel.  Should you have additional questions there will be helpful hints on pages throughout the site but please also refer to frequently asked questions page for more information.

WHAT ARE ZUGROUPS

It’s time to connect with other members. 

A great way to get involved and interact with similar members or an existing team, is to either create a group or join an existing group.  Go to the ZuGroups tab on the top to check out the list of groups that currently exist.

Feel free to join any public group listed or create a new group.  If you create a group you can administer that page with capabilities like: make your group private, add schedules and events, photos, videos and communicate via email with your group members.  Creating groups is a great way for teams to communicate and have a home for videos and photos to share with other parents and family.

PREMIUM CHANNELS

If you haven’t already checked out our professional quality video on our premium and sport channels, it’s well worth the visit.  You can learn tips rules and drills from the pros, participate in contests, see cool plays and unbelievable highlights.  Stay tuned to the premium channel as SportZu.tv will be updating the videos and adding new premium channels frequently.
